The #SportsCapital is having a parade to celebrate the Washington Capitals’ Stanley Cup Victory! To ensure the celebration is a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the Bowser Administration has coordinated service and logistical operations across multiple District agencies, with updates and modifications listed below.
The Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Victory Parade, presented by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, is scheduled for 11 am on Tuesday, June 12.
The parade will begin at 11 am at Constitution Avenue and 17th Street, NW and will proceed along Constitution Avenue to 7th Street, NW where it will turn south and end on 7th Street and the National Mall with an #ALLCAPS rally.

7th Street, NW Parking Restrictions:
Parade Emergency No Parking:
All other Emergency No Parking times will be in effect from 6:30 pm on Monday, June 11 through 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, including:
The public should expect parking restrictions in the area and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in the area and in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed. These vehicles will be relocated to legal spaces. Motorists whose vehicles are towed should call (202) 541-6083.
All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions. Motorists will encounter delays if operating in the vicinity of this event and may wish to consider alternative routes. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) also wish to remind motorists in the vicinity of this event to proceed with caution as increased pedestrian traffic can be anticipated.

Public Space:
A limited suspension of construction, utility, and road work will be enforced in the area adjacent to the parade route on Tuesday, June 12. The suspension of work will be in place for the entire day.
All construction, utility, and road work zones must be cleared and properly secured at the close of business on Monday, June 11.
Vending
The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) will conduct joint vending enforcement with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and target unlicensed vendors, counterfeit merchandise and vending parking restrictions. Areas where parking is restricted will also be restricted from vendors on streets and sidewalks.
