As a District Government agency dedicated to promoting service as an innovative, sustainable solution to meet community needs, the Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) is proud to connect seniors and people with disabilities with meaningful volunteer opportunities in every ward of the city.

DACL Ambassador Program

The DACL Ambassador Program is an initiative to train community residents about our programs and services. The ambassadors serve as points of contacts for distributing information about the programs and services available to seniors, people living with disabilities and caregivers in their wards and communities.
