About Age-Friendly DC 

  • Age-Friendly DC is an initiative of the DC government to coordinate observations of residents with equitable actions by DC agencies and community organizations to make the District an easier place in which to live, work and play, as we all grow older. The District of Columbia was recognized as a top city in the world for Age-Friendly policy directions by the World Health Organization (WHO) and AARP.
