Summary: Request for records related to the District’s Empowering Males of Color initiative. DCPS’s response produced several documents in full, but other documents were redacted or withheld in their entirety based on personal privacy, deliberative process, attorney-client privilege, or as attorney work product. DCPS’s redactions based on personal privacy were affirmed. DCPS’s application of deliberative process, attorney-client privilege, and attorney work product affirmed in part and remanded in part narrowing the documents redacted and withheld under those privileges.
