On Saturday, September 13, 2014, the annual Taste of Georgetown will take place in the District of Columbia, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Roads close at 8:00 am and will be reopened by 9:00 pm. Motorists could encounter possible delays if operating in the vicinity of this event and may wish to consider alternative routes. The Metropolitan Police Department and the D.C. Department of Transportation also wish to remind motorists in the vicinity of this event to proceed with caution as increased pedestrian traffic can be anticipated.
