(Washington, DC) – On Friday, January 15 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will hold a bill signing ceremony for the Private Security Camera System Incentive Program Emergency Act of 2016 in Ward 8. The program, which is part of Mayor Bowser’s comprehensive public safety agenda, provides rebates to property and business owners and religious institutions who install security cameras and register the system with the Metropolitan Police Department. The program aims to deter crime and help identify criminals.
