Mayor Bowser to Release Workforce Plan and Announce Changes at the Workforce Investment Council
(Washington DC) – On Friday, February 12 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will release the DC State Workforce Plan to comply with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, and announce changes at the Workforce Investment Council (WIC). The WIC is a private sector-led board responsible for advising the Mayor, Council, and District government on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the District of Columbia’s workforce development and job training system.
