Mayor Bowser to Highlight DCPS Budget Investments and Launch Guide to Prepare Students for Graduation, College, and Career
(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, April 25, at 11:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Public Schools (DCPS) Chancellor Lewis D. Ferebee will highlight investments in the Mayor’s Fiscal Year 2020 budget proposal toward preparing every DCPS student for college and career.
Mayor Bowser and Chancellor Ferebee will also launch the DCPS Student Guide to Graduation, College, and Career. The personalized guide, the first of its kind in DCPS, will be sent via mail and available online to all 9th-11th grade students to provide an in-depth look at their progress toward graduation, as well as recommendations to achieve success.
