Mayor Bowser to Announce Homicide Closures
(WASHINGTON, DC) – Mayor Muriel Bowser, Councilmember Brandon Todd, and Metropolitan Police Department Interim Chief of Police Peter Newsham will host a media availability to announce homicide closures, including one that occurred on the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, Southeast on Monday, August 29, 2016, and last night’s homicide that occurred on the 600 block of Emerson Street, Northwest.
