From Sunday, March 27, 2016 to Saturday, April 2, 2016 the District of Columbia will be the host city for the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit.
The Metropolitan Police Department, District Department of Transportation, and the District Department of Public Works would like to inform the public of street closures, pedestrian restrictions, parking restrictions, and other impacts in conjunction with the nuclear summit.
See recommendations for motorists who need to get around during the summit.

Maps of street closures for the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit are now available on the US Secret Service website in the Press Release section at: www.secretservice.gov/press/releases.

Motorists traveling in the area of this event may experience delays and should consider alternative routes, if possible. The Metropolitan Police Department and the District Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to pay full attention whenever operating any motor vehicle and to be mindful of heavy pedestrian traffic that may be associated with special events. These street closings are subject to change without notice based upon unanticipated events and prevailing conditions.
